In practice at the Commercial Bar of England and Wales‎ from 1984 to date, undertaking a wide range of commercial disputes involving international parties, both as Counsel and Arbitrator, across a broad range of industry sectors and governing laws, including shipping and commodities, trade finance, infrastructure projects, shipbuilding disputes, salvage and wreck removal, energy and offshore, banking and insurance.

Vasanti has experience sitting as Chair, sole or co-arbitrator in disputes governed by ICC Rules, LCIA Rules, LMAA Rules and UNCITRAL Rules as well as LOF.

She is ‎currently sitting as co-arbitrator in an Indian law governed and India seated ICC arbitration in the pharmaceutical sector and as sole arbitrator in an UNCITRAL arbitration concerning a guarantee dispute.

She has previously chaired a major ICC arbitration governed by Iraq law concerning a major infrastructure project Iraq.

Vasanti also is appointed as sole arbitrator in multiple ongoing LOF case and as co-arbitrator in ongoing LMAA and LCIA disputes
